Chief Executive Officer Norman “Storm” Bell is the co-founder and CEO of PurfekTV, bringing more than 20 years to the music industry. Norman first started his career as a DJ for the rap group Double X Posse who was signed to Craig Kallman Big Beat / Atlantic Records. After DJ-ing, Norman moved on to producing music for clients including Deadly Venoms, Ol Dirty Bastard, Ghostface Killer, Kurupt, and NBA Basketball player/rapper Shaquille "Shaq" O'Neil under Wu-Tang management. Norman’s extensive background has led him to many different opportunities within the music industry such as a partnership with 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records and Sam Scarfo who was signed by Jay Z under Def Jam records. Norman initiated the signing of his rap group Mobb Deep to G-Unit Records. Norman has a winning legacy in the entertainment industry working with many high profile clients such as the son of the late Bob Marley Ky-mani Marley, Troy Ave, Snoop Dog, actor-comedian Brandon T. Jackson, Kanye West, Mary J. Blige, Sean "Puffy" Combs, actor Derek Luke, Floyd Mayweather, WhooKid, NBA Champion Iman Shumpert, and Emmy and Oscar-winning writer-producer-director Agustin Fernandez. Norman has negotiated and closed major deals with Reebok, ADIDAS, South-Pole Clothing, G-Unit clothing, eOne, Warner Asylum Records, Empire Records, and A&M Records. The late Jheryl Busby, former president of Dreamwork Records mentored Storm and soon became his business manager. Studio Manager David Philippe-Auguste is an innovative and articulate artist manager at PurfekTV. His career began in 2004 with UniCarte where he worked as a marketing agent. Highlights of his work over the years include several positions with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, acting as a first assistant director for a variety of music videos, and multiple titles with the weekly live show, Haiti Cabaret Night. David is also a talented content creator and is the general manager of Miu Haiti, one of our on-screen music artists. He has a passion for everything he does and describes his work as “what he does for fun.” Writer / Director Shannon Butler is a writer/director, who creates short film content and oversees PurfekTV’s #1 show Recipe Vs. Reality. Shannon has been with the company for 4 months, and prior to that was a studio coordinator for a post house in NYC, working directly with clients and overseeing the daily operations of the office. Shannon also worked as a post-production assistant for the pop culture cable network, E! located in Los Angeles. She graduated with a B.A. in Visual and Media Arts from Emerson College in Boston. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys watching and garnering inspiration from horror films and tv shows. Creative Manager Kimberly Kelmelis is our Creative Manager, she handles day-to-day office operations including scheduling, client relations, administration, as well as seeing creative projects through from inception to completion. After graduating with a BFA in Film Production from Emerson College in Boston, she began work as a production assistant at an LA-based film company. She returned to Boston where she worked as a film production coordinator for a non-profit organization and later relocated to NYC to coordinate at a post-production firm, East Coast Digital. Kimberly joined Purfek Storm Group in September of 2020 and has become an integral part of our company. In her spare time, Kimberly instructs Zumba courses and indulges in every documentary Netflix has to offer. Coming from a background in production coordination and filmmaking, Kimberly is dedicated to the creative process and making the stars align so that our studio continues to produce inspiring, top-notch content. Stylist Roger A. McKenzie understands how to take a production from good to incredible, an outfit from fine to fabulous, and a style from low-budget to high-fashion. Having worked and trained with the best, McKenzie’s high energy, natural ability, and incredible versatility are what brings producers, photographers, music execs, and his impressive list of celebrity clientele back time and time again. His career as an independent stylist started as a member of June Ambrose styling troupe, The Mode Squad, known for introducing high fashion into urban music videos. McKenzie became Ambrose’s right-hand and was soon swathing the likes of Lil’ Kim in Gucci and Chanel, Foxy in furs and Dior, and Ghostface in custom fur robes and his signature jewel-encrusted boxing championship belts. McKenzie quickly gained a reputation for his own unique brand of styling. Today, Roger partners with brands, film directors, and advertising agencies as well as continues to work alongside his longtime colleagues on a variety of productions. Gaffer Abdul Rahim is more than just a filmmaker he is an artist that puts his all in every production that he is a part of. With close to two decades of experience in videography, lighting, audio, key grip and writing. He is an invaluable powerhouse that is sure to assist in making any set run smoothly. He has been mentored by cinematic legends such as Tom Musto asc, Shane Hurlbut asc and Mark Edward Lewis just to name a few. This guided him to teach and educate the youth of Newark, New Jersey where he currently resides. He has been trusted to carry out the creative visions by Operation Freedom, Goodwill of Greater Washington DC and General Motors Cadillac Division. He has an extensive background working with a great deal of directors including but certainly not limited to: LeRon Lee, Chelsea Odufu, Barry Tomes and Spike Lee, himself. He has a three ton lighting and grip package at his disposal that he is proficient with. When Abdul Rahim is on your set, you’re guaranteed to see your vision come to life. Stylist Since 2009 Iesha Jeng has mastered being a Wardrobe,Film and Prop Stylist as well as Art Director on many commissioned projects.Ms. Jeng has worked as Creative Director on photo shoots, music videos, and editorial shoots. She has worked in Film & Television with major magazine companies, record labels, and have designed signature pieces for many clients.Iesha has a gift to build brands while seeking a marketable image for her clients. She has worked with Vogue,Capital Records,Warner Music Group,Turner Broadcasting Network,BET, MTV, VMA's, and the Grammys . A true fashion connoisseur she loves proportion and pattern her style is high-end meets street classic fashion, and vintage meets edge. Her personal fashion experiences guides her creativity to defy signature looks. Iesha Jeng specializes in enhancing your over all image.She desires to inspire.Iesha Jeng is a force to be reckoned with she is highly commissioned and sought after. Producer Self Service is an American multi-platinum record producer, recording engineer, videographer, and filmmaker. He began his music career in 1997 as a producer of Cocoa Brovaz's second album The Rude Awakening under the moniker Lord Self, then he followed multi-platinum hardcore rap group Onyx, producing five songs for their third album Shut 'Em Down include the title track featuring DMX under the moniker Self. He went on to produce for many of hip hop's leading artists. He is currently working as a producer and professional videographer on NokoTV film studio in Atlanta, Georgia. He composed the official score to the 2013 TV series Empire City and took part in the voice-acting 2003 video game Def Jam Vendetta. Director of Photography Lamont “Liquid” Burrell is a digital production creative visionary. In this world of production, there’s fast, good, and cheap. If you want it fast and good it’s not gonna be cheap. If you want it cheap and fast it’s not gonna be good. With “Liquid”, you get a high percentage of all three. He has worked with almost every camera made, every editing platform, and almost all plugins, like Boris Red, Boris Blue, Tiffen, Magic Bullet, Sapphire, Illusion, and Confusion just to name a few. Avid and RED are his visual weapons of choice but he can work with anything from a 1979 VHS camera to RED Weapon with Anamorphic lenses. Creative Assistant Alex "King Roach" Montanez, CEO of Global Domination Productions, has spent over 2 decades producing and curating content for websites, live productions, festivals and more. As a marketing director, he's created campaigns for various businesses, entertainers and celebrity artists, which landed him at Purfek Storm Group in 2014, where he honed his craft for marketing on-air talent.
